Professional excellence,  decades of experience, a  vision to reach out to the most disadvantaged and  tireless hard work make her formidable force that drives the institution.



Dr. Lucy Bolger - Course Tutor

Dr. Lucy Bolger, our current Course Tutor has completed her PhD in Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne and is a registered member of the Australian Music Therapy Association. Alongside 10 years of clinical music therapy practice, Lucy has been involved in music therapy research in community and school settings, as well as lecturing and student supervision roles with the University of Melbourne.  She has published peer-reviewed articles in several international music therapy journals. Her work focuses on collaboration and participatory practice in music therapy with marginalised communities and individuals, both in the Australian and international development contexts.  .

 

Somesh Purey, IPGDCMT ? Tutor Assistant

Mr. Somesh Purey [IPGDMT], is a qualified Clinical Music Therapist, who graduated from the TMTT PGD Training Program in 2008. Somesh, a professional Tabla and Percussion player, has performed classical, light classical and spiritual music programs in India and the USA for more than 20 years. Somesh now works for the Music Therapy Trust as a Clinical Music Therapist, educator and workshop facilitator. He works with a wide range of clients, including children and teenagers with special needs and is pioneering some of the new projects with young people and street children that the Music Therapy Trust is conducting
