Patricia Herdianto is a UK Registered Music Therapist, who completed her Master’s Degree from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge UK. She has been practising as a music therapist over the past eight years, working with a wide range of clients from children through to the elderly, all with varying ranges of disabilities.
Patricia recently completed a training program qualifying her as a music therapy supervisor at the Guildhall Music School and Drama London and also gained a Certificate in Counselling Skills from the Newman University College Birmingham.
Patricia joined The Music Therapy Trust in January 2009 for one year as its UK Course Tutor for The Postgraduate Diploma in Music Therapy in India. She is now living and working as a music therapist in the UK.
Mike qualified as a Clinical Music Therapist at the Roehampton Institute, London in 1994. He has 15 years of experience of working as a Clinical Music Therapist for the British National Health Service as well as in Education – Mainstream and Special Schools – for Charities, Social Services and Privately in the UK, as well as working for 1 year with the elderly in Australia. Mike served as TMTT’s Course Tutor from June 2010 until June 2011. Mike composes, plays the saxophone, keyboard and sings in various bands, as well as singing tenor in several choirs. Mike currently resides in the UK.
Annie Tyhurst is a registered Music Psychotherapist, a member of the Association of Professional Music Therapists and a Fellow of the Association of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM). She is an APMT approved clinical supervisor. Annie has experience using sensory integration techniques in conjunction with improvisational music therapy working with clients on the autistic spectrum. She has worked in a wide range of areas including adult mental health and a medium secure unit for adults with Aspersers’ syndrome. From September 2007 – July 2008 Annie worked for The Music Therapy Trust as Course Tutor in New Delhi, India.
